Again, I forgot the picture…ah well, I’ll try again next time. This one is great because it takes so little work!
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 C diced onion
- 3/4 C diced green pepper
- 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 14.5 oz can pinto beans
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 t salt
- 2 t chili powder
- 1 bay leaf
Brown beef in large pot. Add onion and green pepper (cook until tender). Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for approximately 1 hour, stirring every 15 to 20 minutes.

No matter how long we are married, we hope to always remain newlyweds. We started this blog to keep a record of the funny and exciting things that happen in our lives. We hope that you enjoy it and look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Katherine, to answer your question you left on my blog —
If I can’t find it on LDS.org, I will start by googling the title, reference, or even some of the words. If that doesn’t work then I have to try to locate the original source. I do have a set of the “Church History” books which contain the majority of the references for the Joseph Smith lessons. If you don’t have those books, it would be a great investment…
I think you are referring to the time I read the King Follett Sermon given by Joseph Smith. I found that through a Google search.
I hope that helps…
Any word on employment yet? I can’t believe that school starts here in less than a month [Aug. 18]!!
